quick update…

wow!  this was an amazing week of MMA!  i had the opportunity to attend the WEC 52 event at the Pearl at the Palms this past thursday night.  it was an incredible event!  the fight card was stacked and my seats were out of control.

i didn’t do too bad on my picks.  i think i had more than half correct which is like 100% for someone with a track record like mine!  there were some very intense battles and there were some totally one-sided dominations!  this event was one of the last two remaining WEC events ever… i am glad i was able to be there!

the very next night i headed down to the Orleans to help out with the TUFF-N-UFF event.  again, this event was phenominal!  everything ran smooth, the fights were very exciting, and i was able to talk with the majority of the fighters in the room where i was working.  working with TUFF-N-UFF has been a super cool experience.  i can’t wait till their next event in january!

then, on saturday, it was time for UFC 122!  this was one of those events that was presented on a tape delay for free and didn’t have a ton of buzz.  however, i thought it was solid.  my picks were about 50% for this one as well, which makes me 100% happy!  there were some really good matches… i was impressed!

so, in addition to all the quality MMA that has been happening, the ministry side of things is rolling right along too!  i continue to meet and build relationships with more and more people in the MMA community.  i am amazed at how far we have come in such a short time!  we have some very exciting plans and goals being laid out for 2011.  i am so looking forward to near future of FIGHT CHURCH!

a few things just around the bend include… additions to www.fightchurch.com, some new fighter interviews, fight predictions/commentary concerning the TUF Finale event, the 2010 WORLD MMA Awards, UFC 124, and WEC 53!  it is going to be the best kind of busy there is!
